How does confidential health info in celebrity pregnancies (including sex of babies) released to public?

I sometimes read about celebrities and how the magazines release the sex of the babies even before they give birth.

I wonder if our medical history files that are supposed to be confidential are really confidential in the United States!

How do these paparazzis get access to personal health files?

They give that information to the press.

Our medical history is safe with our doctors. It's our mothers we have to watch out for. Case in point: Lynne Spears.
