How can I discreetly pay for a hotel to have sex in?

I am meeting up with someone at a hotel for sex and want to pay for the room discreetly. Laying cash down at the front desk seems shady, and I'd like to use a service like Hotels.com to get a cheap price. But I don't want to use my credit card so that the charge won't leave a trail. I found one option: using PayPal to pay for a room using Hotwire.com. Does anyone have any other ideas/tricks to do this?

Yeah, just use cash, lots of people use cash. Or...you can book it over the phone. If they get a call first it doesn't seem conspicuous at all. Plus, i don't think the people working at a hotel care why you are staying there, as long as they get the money. Pick a nice hotel, if you can afford it. It makes a difference ;) Have fun!
