A sex offender can not be on Section 8. Why is this? How are they suppose to live and rehabilatate?

If a sex offender is in compliance of the law and has been for many year since release, why is it they can not be on Section 8. How is a person suppose to live after being released and can not get a job?

I do not want to support a child molestor . . . .

he can get a job . . . . and WORK . . . and live in a tiny rat-hole apartment. . . .
